Regular maintenance should be done when required by wear etc. and should preferably be done before the floor has dried out entirely and becomes more difficult to clean.
Clean the floor entirely at first and refill the pores with maintenance oil as instructions below.
1. Mop the floor with Old-fashioned Wood Soap (100-200 ml soft soap to 10 litre lukewarm water) and leave to dry. Make sure that the floor is free from dirt, marks etc. Use a damp, squeezed floor cloth or mop. Use a white pigmented soap for white oiled floors, and a natural soft soap for natural oiled floors.
2. White oil for white oiled floors and natural oil for natural oiled floors.

3. Massage crosswise with a machine and floor care disk. Red disk for white oiled floors. Blue disk for natural oiled floors.
4. Put a dry rag underneath the disk and wipe up the surplus crosswise. Do not forget to wipe corners and edges.
5. Wait for about 2-4 hours and then polish crosswise with a dry red disk.
6. Put a dry rag underneath the disk and polish again.
Important
Always put used rags in a bucket of water. There is a risk they could self-ignite.
