Care of a floor starts off at the entrance. Good equipment for wiping shoes and other footwear makes it easier to maintain the floor and reduces wear and tear. The most important thing is to regularly remove gravel, dust and other loose dirt. This is easiest to do with a vacuum cleaner, broom or mop. When the floor is cleaned wet, use a mixture of water and soft soap, in accordance with the soap manufacturer's instructions. Wipe the floor with a wet rag or mop. Use water sparingly. Soft soaps for wooden floors are often oilier than traditional soft soap, and many soft soaps also contain wax for better protection. Correct daily maintenance combined with correct regular maintenance allows your floor to maintain its beautiful appearance for a long time, without unnecessary re-sanding.

Always start at the entrance. Make sure that there is a functional entrance solution to make grit and
wet stay there. Furniture must also have soft feet (not black rubber) to protect against pressure
marks, scratches etc.
1. Dry clean with a cotton mop, vacuum cleaner or oil impregnated mop.
2. Wipe over with Old Fashioned wood soap if necessary. Mix 100-200 ml Old Fashioned wood soap with 10 litre lukewarm water. Use a squeezed mop or rag. Use a white pigmented soap for white oiled floors and a natural soft soap for natural oiled floors. A combination machine can be used for large areas. Use a red disk and be very sparing with the water. A basic rule is that the floor should be dry after 1-2 minutes during wet cleaning.
3. It is a good idea to dry polish with a red disk to keep the surface even.
